Smooth Jazz Rush

West Bend Wisconsin has been a proven venue for nine years. Set in Riverside Park, in West Bend, Wisconsin, the Kettle Moraine Jazz Festival has been drawing record crowds since its inception in 1998. In this outdoor setting, large tents are nestled on the grounds for two days, hosting top notch groups such as Fourplay, Crhis Botti, and Gerald Albright, to name a few. My sister and I braved the traffic on a Friday afternoon , bumper to bumper, to see what all the excitement was about. Euge Groove sent out some soulful sounds on the saxophone and we were immediately on our feet dancing and swaying to the music. Norman Brown led a magical music review that included Jeff Lorber, Peabo Bryson, and Chuck Loeb. Next year I plan to arrive earlier to get seats near the stage; a place where I can sing off key, jam to the music, and twist my hips.
